Structure of Flowering Plants

This lesson describes the four main plant organs: the stem, leaves, roots, and flower. Students will learn that the male sex cells, called pollen grains, fertilize female sex cells, called ova. They will also learn ways in which seeds develop after fertilization and are dispersed by plants.
